As much as I want that XL Limecutter, it gave me an idea.

XL limecutter blade, with the regular size limecutter handle.

I think the extra size of the handle would be more advantageous than the smaller handle, more comfortable in use. Just a thought.

Just a question, does the mix of metals mean the copper is also throughout the blade edge? Or just in the handle? Please excuse my ignorance, but was curious.

that puukko is simply beautiful. If anyone is thinking of getting it, don't hesitate. If I had the $$ right now I would get it. I have purchased 3 knives from Charles (a friction folder, a lime cutter and a kiridashi) and each one is better than the last! Buy it, you will not be disappointed!

It's easiest to think of it in terms of SanMai, or sandwiched steel. The whole piece, handle and blade have the same mix, so when turned on its side, you'd see copper poking through along the spine along all sections.
