XL => Xtra goodness

This is only the large. The XL is an actual pocket sword. :D

I don't own one of those, although I'd love to; I just can't justify the expense for something that would be solidly in novelty territory for my needs.
Aah, I see. Well it's still pretty damn big!
Hahah, yeah.. the aus10 version is close to $300, and the s35vn is almost $700 if I remember correctly.

A good compromise would be the Spartan then. It’s still fairly XL (and hefty mind you) while still being practical for large EDC applications.

I've been using the heck out of my Spartan lately. I guess it's rapidly becoming my go-to beater folder. For the first time ever, I really appreciated that recurve sawing through the smelly, wet plastic bottom of a compost bin I had made with holes too small. It wasn't a job I wanted to spend more than 10 seconds doing and I was stoked to have that huge belly and recurve to cut so fast thorough. I feel totally comfortable stabbing with it too. Great knife. Next stop, XL Espadaville.
Just a shame about that recurve.

I'm a big CS fan (Recon 1 and Ultimate Hunter owner). Great value for the money. Cheesy marketing but I get a chuckle seeing Lynn and his buddies stabby stabby slicey dicey on various materials.

Congrats on your new knife.

I was going to comment that you should get the Rajah 1 or 2 but totally forgot about the Espada XL.

Sure, recurves definitely have their place, but I just absolutely hate sharpening them.

My pocket choice since 25 years is of course CS Voyager Large Tanto half serrated VG-1
So I clearly feel your feel :^)))
Welcome to our wagon, pilgrim.

BTW - didn't found anything even close to replace it yet.

Sure, please remember knife is some 25 years old
and after 15 years of EDU
every day use :^D
