Well, I finally finished a custom scale I'd been messing around with.

Was a fun project to attempt and I might try it again as this one did not come out 100% perfect. Although you have to be looking at the right angle it is possible to see where I messed up the placement of the two notches on the rear and didn't get the lanyard hole rectangular enough. Thickness-wise, it turned out pretty good: about .10" vs .085 for the factory G10.

Not going to use it though as I do use this knife as my EDC and there is just no way that the thin wood will ever hold up nearly as well as the original G10 scale. I'll probably use it at a display piece if I ever manage to get my paws on a 3.5" one.
