XM-18 VS Les George VECP

Well guys I have made up my mind. I am gonna go for it and do the trade!! I am happy at least I am getting my grail that I never dreamed I would get.

Forget the knives (not really) the group on the Hinderer forums is hard to beat. ;)

Thanks so much for the kind words and advice the deal is done th VECP is out the door first thing in the AM!!! I am happy with my choice and I also think I made the right decision. Thank you very much for welcoming me into the Herd fellas!!! I am one happy man today I made friends with a great man while doing the deal also!! I could not be happier.

Good choice, Hinderer quality has to be held to be appreciated. Post some pics when it comes in!

Hey there buddy! Glad you're happy, I think you'll be jumping for joy when you get it. I'm excited to be reunited with a VECP once again. If I didn't have one or two other XM's around, you wouldn't be getting this one, haha! ;)

It was a pleasure talking to you today, and over the past few days while we hammered out the details. And guys, Millie Maniac will be an excellent member to the herd, he's a stand up guy for sure. Glad to have found a new knife buddy.

Oh you guys certianly will hear what my take is on the XM!!! I am just happy I think it was a fair trade for the both of us. I just hope. Chuka likes the VECP that is on the way its one sweet blade!!! I will definitely miss it but in my life this was my one and only REAL shot at getting an XM.

The new Blade magazine (I got mine today) had Rick Hinderer listed as one of the most influential knife-makers of the 21st Century, calling the XM one of the most coveted and hardest to find tactical knives on the planet (or words to that effect).

Had one guy I never heard of as the number one influence, but I'm no custom knife expert.
