Problem solved!
This past weekend i took some time searching for something that could work as a pocket sheath for my 3".
At first i wanted a leather one but due to my discovery i made up my mind and abandoned that idea.
What discovery you say?
Well, this:
A small Benchmade Cordura sheath model 981086F!
It arrived today and it works great.
You can have the knife tip down...
...or tip up.
It is very comfortable to have it in the pocket due to it's slimness.
Not for me but for you guys that may consider this option it also has a belt loop on the back wich can be used without any worries in the vertical position.
I believe it can also be used in the horizontal but you would need to use it in a slimmer belt.
I recommend it guys!
Now i can use my front right pocket for other things than carry my knife

No more worries about scratching or that it might open in the pocket.
Of course it is not as pretty as a custom made sheath but it's a nice and cheap aternative that works perfectly
You words were in my mind so I ended up ordering something like it for my 3,5"

I bought a
CT435 Colt Black Nylon Sheath.
Definitely not for pocket carry due to it's thickness but very well made and cheaper than the Maxped.
I don't carry my 3,5" but if i ever need to i will also have a nice and secure belt sheath for the bad boy:
Well, i hope this can be helpful for you guys
