Which textured Ti scale best matches the lock bar side in color? I was assuming that the stonewashed textured scale would be the best match but it appears to have more shine than the lock bar but that could be caused by the camera's flash. So which is the better match; textured stonewashed, textured bead blast or textured sand blast? Thanks!

Stonewashed textured. The facets created by the texture cuts will pick up more light naturally. There is the smooth textured as well.
I have a Bronzed smooth Ti. It is a neat look and a great feel.

My vote is the textured sand blast.

Honestly, this isn't too complicated, if you have a stonewashed lockside, the textured stonewashed scale will match best, if you have a bead blast lockside, the bead blast scale will match best, and finally, if you have a sandblast lockside, the sandblast scale will match best.

You can get both the Ti in Stone-washed or Bead-Blasted to match whatever is on your lock-side. All you need to know is if you want it plain or textured. i personally think it looks better textured.

It would help a bit to know what finish lock side you seek to match
As previously stated, the matching of your all Ti scale finish to the existing finish of your XM should match.
My XM 24 Ti scale is anodized bronze as is my lockside (several recent pics in photo thread). They were produced at different times and I had carried my 24 since lucking into it at Blade Show 2011. First impressions was that the brand new textured anodized bronze scale was not a perfect match to the existing lockside. Well, that was because I swapped the scale in the evening under dim lighting. The next morning and everyday since, I came to realize it does in fact match nicely. Depending on lighting my textured anodized bronze scale shows a multitude of colors as the many facets of the texturing reflect the light.
As soon as the Gen 4 3.5" Ti textured stonewashed scales are offered, I'll know more.

The lock side on my XM-24 is stonewashed but the textured stonewashed scale looks much brighter. I have a carved stonewashed sebenza that even though it too is stonewashed it looks much brighter than the lock side of my XM-24. I'd love to see the 3 different textured scales that I mentioned laid out next to a stonewashed XM with the lock side up for comparison.

I am pretty sure the stonewashed textured Ti scale is intended to match the stonewashed locksides. The edges should best match the more matte stonewashed finish of the lockside. While the machined texturing may catch light and appear more "shiny". That is most likely only true if the scale is stonewashed before machining. I could see a textured scale much less reflective if it is tumbled after machining. Thoughts?

I'm still waiting on the 24 Ti scale to be available . ;(

Any idea when this will happen?

I've also be giving some thought to having a GITD Kryptonite scale made but I wanted to go full Ti for the XM-24 and the GITD Kryptonite for a ZT0560 but I'm getting tired of waiting.

Nope. I hear they're busy in the Hinderer shop so they haven't carved out time for it.
Impatiently waiting though. By the way, nice Frank Frazetta avatar. :)

I just posted a WTB request for a Titanium Textured Stonewashed Scale for the XM-24 but then it dawned on me that I have never seen this scale anywhere other than Hinderer's site so now I'm wondering if it is yet to be released. I initially thought they were just sold out but now I'm not so sure...do they exist or what? Thanks!

They exist, Hinderer Knives did both a smooth and textured XM-24 scale. I borrowed this picture from another forum:

I did the same a couple of weeks back and i haven't scored. :(
The one's out there i'm assuming belong to very happy owners whom don't forsee parting with such perfection.

You can peep (and may have already) my 24 rockin' a bronze annodized textured titanium scale on page 22 of the photo thread.

Yeah I've already seen it but I had to look again and it's sweet!
I have the steel flame sterling silver darkness skull & .45ACP shell case pocket clip & the sterling silver skull filler tab which I think will look awesome when combined with the ti textured stonewashed scale.

Gotta go take some pics of my latest customized seb...
