Xm18 re-blade

FE5407E3-B2D9-4402-9A01-3FDCCF18E616.jpeg I’m very happy with all the work Josh did on the blade stop pin relocation, plus left the original for backup. The other 24 just needed a little tweaking on the detent. Both are awesome now, including the blade reprofile..30dps with 40dps micro bevel.
 
Hinderer will replace a blade but it depends on the situation. I will say they do not do it often. Also there are a lot of times where you send something in that they do not have a blade for so you might end up with a different blade on your knife. For example a customer recently sent in a Spanto XM-18 3.5. Rick contacted him back and said they would replace the blade for a fee but he had no more Spanto Blades. He ended up instead getting a Harpoon Spanto blade back on his knife. Customer was happy with the result.

I would be completely happy with that. I doubt I'd be able to get another wharncliffe in 20cv but can't complain about a new blade either way.
