Hi Guys,
Been a while since I last posted up anything here, though I do read through a lot that's on here on a week-to-week basis. Anyways, thought I share a photo (and hopefully get others to do likewise) of something I used one of my knives for on xmas day.... though I should have taken an axe or saw (lol).
Got up early and went for a walk down one of the local paths towards a forest - but the path had been 'blocked' by a fallen silver birch tree. Sooooo.. popped out my Kellam Wolverine and started to carve it .. in order to split it in two. After 10 mins of work I realised that this was going to take forever, so I reverted to using it to chop with. Not it's intended function of course... Hence the reason I should have taken an axe or saw. Oh well.
30 mins later and the tree was cut in two and the path passable (for everyone - excluding dogs
who didn't need the help in the first place):
