bought myself a dpx gear best 2.0, and received a ton of new cams, water bottles, outerwear, lots of climbing rope and a new set of gloves.

I got a Gransfors Bruks French Trade Hawk, HPG Mountain Serape and another year with family!

A Mountain Hardwear Exposure Parka and 8 pair of Smartwool Light Hiker socks. It was a good year.

A booklet on tying knots, an EMS gift card, and some cash (which will be paying for an Alan Davis misery whip knife).

Got a new Kodak Sport camera and a Ruger LCR 22lr :) also got some Survival food in the form of a huge Mr Goodbar!

Would love to see pics and review of you LCR 22!!!

I had a happy Christmas too...AR-332 optic and a foliage moe stock set for my AR. This was the first christmas that I used my amazon wish list to let my family know what I'd like and it worked. No ties, no underwear, no socks and no pj's.

I'd love to hear your review of the AR-332. It's been on the want list for a long time. LCR-22 is THE ideal rabbit-blasting survival gun. It'd sure cut down on weight from my ol' Rohm Mod. 66...

I also got an Emberlit stove. I went out Chistmas day to boil some water for tea to try it out. I'm going to have to practise some more. It was windy and cold, but it took me an hour to boil water. Just using sticks I could find in woods, yes some if them had moisture in them. I did have an old copper tea kettle full of water.
Also got a Mr Heater Hero rechargeable 35,000 btu propane torpedo heater. I'll be warming up garage soon to test.
God bless and Happy New Year!

some clothing, little bit of gear.

I got a paid vacation to Afghanistan and a whole bunch of cool issued gear in OCP (OEF Camo Pattern = Multicam):D

We did an early Christmas on Thanksgiving before I took off. My son got me the cool set of the Fozzils folding plate/bowl combo that can also work as a cutting board (very cool). MY wife and daughter got me a Kindle...just the standard version, but well worth it and plenty of books downloaded for the next six months!

I hooked my son up. He landed a Cold Steel Recon Tanto, SOG Tomahawk and I picked up a "deal" HI BAS Khukuri for him for his pending B-Day (he's always using mine!).

I had a few presents for myself and a few on the way...

Mystery Ranch 3DAP (in multicam to blend in with my OCP issue:D)

Kifaru Woobie in multicam; and I picked up a few smaller silnylon compression sacks for when I travel and working with Martin Knives to get a SERE T3b...

It's my Birthday tomorrow (January First), so I'm just adding them together! Happy New Years all!

Oh, forgot to mention that I gave my wife a new pistol, Ruger SR9c which she loves and my daughter got a surplus CZ-83 in very good shape. She turns 18 in June, so I wanted her to get some practice at the range (my wife is taking her shooting).
