Well, since everyone else seems to be trying to build Balisongs, I decided to try to put some of my sheath ideas into reality.

I practiced on a few muli-tools just to get a feel for working with the Concealex (I've had the stuff for about two weeks now).

Here is my first attempt for a Balisong:

This set-up works great by the way! (if I do say so my self). Very comfortable, VERY quick and smooth to draw......... and contrary to what you might think, no problems when sitting down.

I have a few other cool designs that I'll be playing with in the near future, and yes Snipe, the Horizontal strip is going to be a reality some day soon!

sweet.. looking forwrd to the horizontal strip. but i DO have to ask.. your shirt was down.. how was this connected to your body again?? (didn't look like a belt)

Ahaa, I see what sniperboy is sayin, the shirt underneath is down all the way and the concealex is "on top" of it and being held up somehow.

Clay: can you have it up front and positioned so that the handles "point" towards each shoulder like this: \/ (each diagonal line is a closed bali sticking up from the sheath)

SWEET! I love the double bali design.. I'm also wondering how the sheath is connected to your body, because I can't see any belt either. One thing that would be pretty neat: if you could change the positions of the balis to your pleasing... but then again, you probably made this thing to your pleasing... =/

But hey, maybe if you made some for us... your forum buddies.

Real men like Clay don't use belts. I'll bet he pop rivited it right to his butt. Maybe wood screws right into his tail bone. Remember, this isn't a carry rig for whimps. No, this is the Xtreme carry rig.

Anyone who's tough enough to run around with a pair of concealed balisongs better not wince at the thought of a little pop rivit.

Clay, didn't your teachers teach you that if you do not have enough for the hole class than you should keep these things to your self? It's only cool if you share, I mean sell these things to the rest of us!

Thanx for the compliments all.

Soulsire- It works well up front too. Though I think a little more horizontal might be better there (coming).

Sniperboy- I clipped it to one of those "tourist pouch" things (fanny pack, whatever). For jeans, I put a split clip on the back that straddles the back center belt loop, to keep it in place. Easy on, easy off, and stays where ya' want it.

BalisongMan- Yes, it can be inverted just by flipping the clip.

Gollnick- When you're right, you're right, and not about the rivets in my ass either (that's just a hobby). This is definitly a "Go directly to jail" set-up in most parts of the world....... not a good idea to walk around in public this way. That said, I've been walking around in public with it for a few days now and it is by far the best method of carry I've used. I think I'll keep it!

Random, Darth Detori -I'm not sure yet if I'll be selling any in the future. I have to see if I'm really any good at this before I decide (beginners luck on this one??). Right now I'm just having fun with it. I was thinking about raffeling off a few in the near future though........ just to get some input from you guys. We'll see.

You know, my wife has some aunts,uncles and alot of cousins in Princeton she is always wanting to visit. Maybe I can convince her she is Clay's long lost cousin and make the trip?
What do you think Clay, you have room for the six of us at your place?
I have got to check this stuff out first hand.
I can be there by ten or so tonight if I leave after work.

LOL.......... sorry KnifeThrower, my girlfirends parents are up from Florida to see their new Grandson (her brothers new kid), and attend that penis severing ceremony "thing" that they do.

Unfortunately for you they're staying with us, making my one bedroom apartment crowded enough at the moment, thank you.

Plus, I don't get home from work until after 1:00 AM. I don't know if my GF would understand you and your family standing at our door at 10:00........ because after all, I am the "cave man" type and wouldn't tell her anything until it was too late.
