So I'm sitting here drinking some 120 minute IPA from Dogfish Head, just wrote a review on the Deurter Kid backpack and thought I'd share some pics from the hike today.

It was just me and Myright Jr. since Mrs. Myright is working 1500-2330 today.

Everything is green! We spooked a couple of whitetails and my boy had a blast watching their little white tails bounce up and down through the woods.

Enjoy the pics.

Great pics bro! I hope you didn't get too close to all that Poison Ivy!

I like the rig for the nessy, just becareful putting it away....

What do you think about the 120 IPA? I prefer the 90 minute myself, the 120 is a bit too Malty for me.

"Killer Tree" tape is used by the forestry service to indicate a tree that should be removed immediately. Could represent a fire hazard or in your case, one that is in danger of dropping limbs or falling on a well traveled trail.

Nice pics. I like the gear setup on the straps:thumbup: All the stuff you could want on the fly easily accessable.

Thanks bro - I don't venture too far off trail here and always wear pants. The poison ivy and the ticks are hell here.

Believe it or not it's actually very comfortable carrying it like that. I just got the nessie in the mail yesterday so that was an impromptu location for mounting the knife and it worked out great.

The 120 minute is VERY malty, but is good every now and again. I only buy one bottle at a time. For one - it's pretty expensive - and two - it's just not something I can drink regularly.

The 90 minute is one of my favorites from them. There is a big DFH tour that a local liquore store is hosting father's day weekend. I can't go...

That was the only thing I could think, but it looked like a heatly tree to me. But I don't know that much about trees.

Thanks Walter - Believe it or not, that Nalgen bottle was very comfortable on the sternum strap. I'm going to try and mount my Maxped 10x5 on it next time.

Very nice pictures and country over there. That paved trail is nice too.

Thanks Pit! I ended up being the home for that little guy once the pass around was over. I really like it and wish I could have put it to a little more use while on my hike. It's a little hard to play with a 9 month old on your back :)

I did strip down a couple of sticks for a walking stick but it couldn't quite get through the thicker branches and my LM w/saw was in my pack. My boy likes to stay on the move so I just pressed on.

That nessie is going to see quite a bit of use from me though :)

I am glad the Nessie found a good home:thumbup: Great pics. Nothing better than spending some time outdoors with little ones.
