Yamaha Red Label (Nippon Gakki) acoustic guitar ca.1971

For sale is my Red Label Yamaha FG 140 acoustic guitar. Made in 1970-71 in the famous Nippon Gakki factory, this guitar shows minimal wear for its age, and sounds wonderful! Clean low action, no buzzing or loose frets, plays equally well strummed or fingerstyle. Original tuners are not bent, turn easily but hold tune. Neck is clean, modified “C” with no gouges or marks; some slight buckle rash on the mahogany back. The headstock shows a slight bit of finish wear on one side of the top; the spruce top has no cracks. Slight fret wear under the “B” string, mostly on the second fret, doesn’t affect playability. Will come in a non original but sturdy RoadRunner hard case, and will ship insured via UPS. These guitars are kinda collectible- this is a really nice example of this genre.
