Welcome to the party... did you miss the point where it was a big joke and I was teasing? I am by nature not a complainer in the least and I couldn't be happier with my knives. I've been so happy in fact I was hesitant to tell Yangdu that the horn handle on one of the knives developed a crack in transit... hell the only reason I mentioned it was because I was in the process of ordering another and wanted to know if that is a common occurrence. She wanted me to return it, I said I would try to fix it and if it got worse I would THAN consider returning it, but not right now. Go have your funny bone checked, I think it is out of spec. :jerkit:

Dude, first quasi-flame I've made since coming here and there were a couple times I was close. I figure anybody who doesn't take the time to read a one page thread before firing a broadside deserves a response. I think it was pretty well established that it was a joke. :D

Man, I really dislike the jerkit smiley. I remember Sarge having a problem with it too. Everybody remembers him right? The search function works again. Learn about Sarge.
 
I didn't code the smiley for the board... sorry if you took offense. Not like I went out and got the code for an off-board emoticon and used that.
 
It's a basic gentleman's agreement that we don't use the jerk-it. There is no rule regarding it as the Cantina is place of free speech and idea exchange. That said, we prefer to talk out our differences.
 
Not a problem, I can avoid using the jerk-it. I do think it is a little silly to expect anybody to know that. And no, not all of us remember Sarge, nor would we know he didn't like it... nor would anybody be expected to search for a thread where somebody they never knew expressed their dislike for an emoticon.
 
No one expects clairvoyance. Now you are aware. No biggie. Take it light.
