First off, Yangdu laid these out for pix. She won't wipe the blades so you'll get all the dust, fuzz, hair, and other debris that oil collects in the pix. And, she won't lay out the kardas and chakmas. "These are blems and nobody cares anyway."

Now with the explanation out of the way here's a 12 inch 14 ounce AK by the Whiz Kid. Only thing I can find wrong is a small handle repair where the Kid has filled an area with his own handcrafted expoxy -- about the size of a pea. Cosmetic only but it gets you the knife delivered for $50.

15 inch 15 ounce AK. Bura made the knife and village sarki scabbard and frog. No more to say -- 10/10. Horn has shrunk a little -- result loose buttcap. Epoxy or peen with care. Delivered for $50.

Hell of a nice 16.5 27 ounce Chiruwa AK by Bura. Only thing I can see that "might" keep this rig out of the 10/10 category is some grain lines in slabs. No fix required. $72.50 delivered.

15 inch pound and a half AK silver mounted. Handle done by Newari carving man. There's a very small crack which might go away if handle is loaded up with boiled linseed oil which it needs very badly right now. This is the only thing that keeps rig from 10/10 category.

See crack in pix below.

Delivered for $87.50

Call or email. Everything is running late today so if you get your mail or call to me in the next 2.5 hours we can ship today.

Now let's see if I can get these pix to post.

Comes from sitting at the computer for two hours, refreshing the screen every 20 seconds or so.

Bill, the second one down does not look like an AK; it looks like a 15" sirupati.

disregard this not if I'm wrong. I didn't write it...wasn't me

I see it took 5 minutes. I had a slow dial up connection for 5 years (20 US dollars a month). For two years now I've been paying $40 a month for cable Internet and it's definitely worth it. (It would cost more but I get a package deal from the cable company for digital television combined with Internet access. Total is over $110 a month now. It seems to go up every month or two.) I'm on Long Island, inside the New York City limits.

If you can live with Uncle Bill's descriptions alone, maybe you could turn off displaying images in your browser settings when you're viewing Uncle Bill's daily deals.

UB, I'm having problems with my email. Will the Bura Siru be hard to fix? I'm not that good at that type of thing.
