Yangdu's blems for 5/9 -- better late than never. Pix and steals.

Even I, with my ten thumbs can fix one of thems. Either squirt some epoxy into the gap or use a small ball peen hammer and mush out the tang pin on the butt.

UB, I'm having problems with my email. Will the Bura Siru be hard to fix? I'm not that good at that type of thing.

Ben, I only had one khukuri with a loose butt cap. I poked a little epoxy JBWeld around the edges with a toothpick. A little at a time to prevent smearing. Still tight today.

UB, I'm trying to send you an email for the Bura Siru. The guys have built up my confidence and I'll try fixing it.

Insomnia pays off - :D

5:00am here, been up since 3:00

Congratulations Ash, I know what it feels like, I've done it a few times now myself, but as you know, it's worth it. I just received a beautiful M43 on Thursday and am still waiting for a WWII in the mail. The M43 was worth the effort. I bet the WWII will be also.:D

I tell you it's hell to be living in a different time zone when offers like $50 khukuris come up.
By the time, I get wind of the whole thing, the "looters" have all gone home to sleep.

And here I am just staring at the "posters". It's like being hacked by a khukuri! Tell Bura to come to Malaysia for a holiday, I will give him the steel and set the fire for him, and we can make a couple of khukuris just for the fun of it!!

The best part is I don't have breathe the dust trail left behind by the others, the Himalayan Marauders. :D :D

Glenn,

M43 is a peice of work isn't it - wood or horn handle?
WWII's are nice but the one I got just seemed to fit my father
better so he carries it now.

I'm still in shock at the size of the Cherokee Rose I got last week :)

Golok - "Himalayan Marauders" has a mighty nice ring to it, could end up in my sig.:D :D :D

That Bura was gone faster than you can stain a dress in the Clinton White House..

You wont regret that decision. One of my favs and most used khuks is a Siru by Bura that came with a huge crack in the handle. A little epoxy and can't hardly tell. Great khuk. Just needed a little work. Enjoy.:)

This will be my fifth khuk. I have yet to be sorry that I ordered one. I'm sure that with a little tender loving care, this little khuk will become like an extension of my hand.
