Spot on 16.5", 1.5 lb WWII by the old master, Bura. He makes the best karda and chakma of anybody in the shop. The karda is worth $50 so you get the khukuri, chakma and scabbard for $12.50. Only thing wrong is tiny crack and grainlines in handle. $62.50 delivered.

Call or email.

I think it is related to me. Really I'm6'5" and 200#, but i shrunk:D  :footinmou

I really want that top one. I wish I hadn't looked.:(

It looks like "!" is using initials as well as the "!" now.:)

That little AK sure is pretty. He puts a really good edge on his knives, too.

Uncle, if you ever, ever, EVER run across a 12" AK with a wood handle like that 15", I'll buy it.
Bonus points for it being one from "!" but any Kami will do, really.

is going to love it. I have two 25" by Sher, one horn, one wood. Not exactly quick, but the leverage is amazing.

Frank

I have an old HI 25" siru. While heavy, it does chop like a really big mean thing.

The kami mark on it is "o". Would anyone know who that is?

Phil

I picked up that 20" Shop 1 AK at the post office this morning. I'll start a thread on it when I have time to take pics and post. This thing is MUCH bigger than my last 20" AK.

2" spine and weighs about 40 lbs. Karda is 9" and 12 oz.

OK maybe I exaggerated a bit, I'll get some real specs posted tonight. But it's HUUGE!!

Phew! :)
That didn't take long, at all.

Me=Ahab ... mythical 12" wood AK=white whale. Arrrr!:D

I love !'s stuff too. He is one of those that will rise to the top of the list, the more people try him.

(a.k.a. I'll second that ;) )

Keep in mind, on the third tablet (the one Moses dropped on his way down the mountain), was writ:

"Thou shalt not disdain horn-handled 12 AKs, for they smite mightily."

[Think it was # 13 or #14, not sure.]

Yes, but I already have a 12" horn-handle AK.

I'm just hoping to some day see a wood one. With all the strange, beautiful and wonderful things coming from HI these days, it couldn't be that impossible, could it?:)

Dr. Duvon Winborne made a good case for wood handles. Hope you can get one. Think mamav is starting to want a wood handle 12"AK. Hmmm,
