Yangdu's Cash Flow Sale for 2/10 -- Pix, Uddha Sword, Knives and Big Savings

Is the baby ak the one right above the ultimate fighter blade in the second picture?

That thing is cute!!!

Yes it is; the stag horn is very beautiful.

We all know we don't "need it" but we just "want it" so badly!

And the prices these two days have been AMAZING! Nobody can touch H.I. quality and pricing in this business. And speaking like an economist, perhaps it is time to consider an e-bay type of bidding for the more popular items. There is something to be said for the clearing speed of the first-come-first-served sale method and the shark mentality it breeds, but if cash is low, auction is the way to go.

Before you call for an auction, you might want to check Bladeforums rules.

From the FAQ: Can I raffle or auction off an item I have for sale?

No. Any raffles or auctions must have prior approval of the site owner, and it's extremely rare when these are allowed. Unless the proceeds are going to a charity or other verifiable donation of funds, chances are it will not be approved.

While this is primarily written for individuals, I believe Spark would want a manufacturer to check in before doing this as a regular program.

Sure, but H.I. has a working website and a shopping site, there is no reason to use Bladeforums at all for that channel.

I think Miss Yangdu knows what she wants for a item and what she needs, she also knows that if she posts a Dotd 90% of the items will be sold with in 24hrs so why wait for a auction to end and deal with the hassles, plus it will become a matter of those with the most money to spend always winning the bid. I don't know about you but I live for the occasional special price or blem, if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be able to buy anything at all.
