ANG1, did you get that Bilton? I can't believe I got outgunned on that one. :) Good snag for whoever got it, regardless...I can't believe those Karka Biltons sell for so little.
No, I was too slow for the Bilton and the Tez Darr, but I'm not angry.  :( :( :D :D :D

JR42; your avatar looks strangely familiar...!

I recall having had seen it somewhere on the great wastelands of the Internet. Is it a photo of a fried chicken head supposedly found in a box of Chicken McNuggets at McDonalds? :D

Hi Drdan,
You're correct. I've had the photo on my hard drive for quite some time; not sure where I got it. There's some info halfway down the page at Snopes. It sounds like her story isn't quite taken as fact, but at any rate the picture is disturbing! :D

It looks like you can open four beer bottles at once with it. That's the opposite of impractical.

Plus the tactical eye-poker at the butt-end. This is what the Navy SEALs will be using next fiscal year.

They should call it the "matter seperator and tactical multiple alcoholic beverage decapitator with integral sensory organ disbler"

It's an ancient Nepali knife that was traditionally used for preparing chicken for McDonalds before they lost the contract for some reason... :barf:

2,3,4 khukuris at a time?
Dayum.

I have the need to be completely broke as soon as possible, buying completely illiquid assets that I can never use. Isn't it obvious?

They are a hungry breed...I expect the next generation to take Bill's message literally...

Damn, Satori, if you missed the Bilton you got hosed on that one. You called it 15 minutes before anyone else. I have a Karka Bilton that I paid more for that is not nearly as nice as this one. I am definitely looking for similar models in the future, and like you say, for $29 you can't go wrong!

Regards,

Norm

I thought it was a leftover from a Chinese dinner. Aren't chicken heads sometimes used as a garnish?

The kamis will make more... and cool new stuff too.

Hey, I guesss Sher is back at work with that Tez Darr thingy... he's not made any UBBB's in a while. Google searched Tez Darr, couldn't find nuthin'.

True story here - call it karma at work. (Pun intended.)

I had the duty today and was puttering around the armory; they were doing force protection drills today - keeping me a bit busy in the process - and there'd been some drama over the last few days that I don't want to get into. I fired up the computer and said to myself, "Nothing's happening right now, I'll see if a special came up."

No special - and an insane amount of users online. I drafted an email. Elapsed time, maybe one minute.

I check back. Special's posted, no images yet. Refresh, refresh, refresh, BAM! Copy and paste and off goes the email. I managed to get the Tez Darr, but whoever got that Bilton was truly on the ball. :)

Nasty - I can see it now: "Email sent on everything. Don't even bother." :)

Hey Satori- great snag! Congrats and will you do your usual thorough field test & post?

Like to see some pix of that one... Wonder what the story is. They probably modeled it after one the kamis found in a crashed flying saucer, but they think it's no big deal and that we know all about it.

Probably not. It looks too nice to beat on. Then again, so did everything else. :)

With luck, though, I'll be doing some cutting tomorrow or Saturday with a few items in a bid to generate some good footage. We'll see how it goes.
