Not completely sure, but there is a forum setting that shuts off images. Check the "User CP" button and go to the Edit Options pulldown to check if you inadvertantly have that shut off. Other than that maybe you have a very active Virus/Spam blocker that is getting confused?
 
That's a fine looking piece and a winner at that price. Beautiful "glow in the dark" wood handle as Uncle Bill used to say.
