Yangdu's deals for 8/20 -- Pix and usual steals.

No, I took the money from my cookie jar that I was setting aside to buy a Grizzly knife grinder. I NEVER sell firearms.

Munk, this could be serendipity in action and a blessing you may never recognize. Never bemoan a possible blessing my friend.:) ;)

Munk, While a 10 isn't my favotite caliber, it is certainly sufficent for just about any needs.

So what if you missed some kuhk's they'll be more.

Well, hopefully.

we have so much,
but no one gets it all
and we aren't even talking about just goods

why 45acp!
Although I carry a .40 Glock (mdl 23) most of the time.

I've found that a .45 is the most powerful I can handle accurately and quickly in a semiautomatic pistol.

45colt or .357 in a revolver.

I've not shot a 10mm colt, only a Glock 20. It wasn't bad, but the gun didn't fit my hand well.

I wonder why no one ever made a .357 semiauto? Or have they?
I'm very ignorant about guns.:(

The company that made/make the .44 AutoMag also makes a .357 AutoMag.
I guess they take a .44 automag and "neck" it down to a .357 caliber.

Glock also makes several models.

I remember a company that took over the old automag (out of business) design and upadated it, using lots of those magnum rounds.
Wildey.
I think that was the name.
Also, doesnt the Desert Eagle come in 357 ?
357, 41,44, and 50 AE , I think.

I like the grizzly in 45 win mag but too expensive for me.

The delta elite is a nice gun, I thought they stopped making those.

I just put a Beretta Cougar 8040 F Inox (stainless with walnut grips) on layway.
I have to wait til christmas to see it.
But hey, if we make the chrustmas khukuri party happen, maybe we can all shoot it.
( that farm is big enough for shooting)

If anyone is interested, I've got a couple of guns I could bring at Christmas.

The for mentioned Desert Eagle was made in .357.
A company named Coonan Arms also made a .357 auto. It is actually an incredably nice looking firearm also. I have never fired one though.
I have tried a lot of handguns and calibers, but always go back to the .45acp that I trained with while in the Corps back in the 70"s. I find the 1911 just does it for me, and the .45 is a great caliber for SD. YMMV

There is a 357 Sig that doesn't do too badly. This is available in conventional sized semi autos. It is a bottlenecked cartridge and so requires extra steps when handloading.

I think the 10 is the best semiauto design- though it's 'improvement' was too late to change the deserved popularitly of the 45 acp. To tell how little motivated I was to get a semi auto besides the 45 ACP, I used to refer to the 10 as the best semi auto handgun cartridge I never owned.

A deal came by and I took it from a friend.

My favorite handgun cartridge is probably the .41, thought the older I get the more I like them all; 32 mag, 41, 45 Colt, and 44 mag

I didn't care for the Glock grip either.

I like a glock in the midsized frame, but the rest just don't do it for me. I really recommend a Kel-Tec .32 for a pocket pistol though, it is smaller and lighter than the Colt 1903, shoots the same cartridge, feeds better. Just isn't quite as accurate. But I can hold the gun in a firing grip, and the end of my index finger hangs out past the muzzle. That is compact. :D

Wow we have really really hijacked this thread. Errr my 12 inch siruptis are compact and conceal well too? :o

Well, the sale is over anyway, isn't it? All the items gone?

Normally on our HI khuk forum I don't consider firearms talk to be a hijack; what could be more natural when discussing Khuks and wilderness than firearms too?
