Yangdu's Halloween Deals. Pix and ridiculous prices.

Though unwritten, I consider it good form to post when you've scored a blade to avoid the confusion that results from others trying to get the same blade.
Good choice for blade.

I never thought of it that way. I thought it was a form of unsolicited gloating.

Yangdu is pretty good with shipping. It's probably already in the mail. There'll be another one.

Dan H, nice offer- you do want a M43. I got a wood handled one (17.5", 29 oz.) last week's UBBB and is a work of ART. Beautiful nickle silver, no cho creep- about 1 cm. Everything that's good about a khuk is even more good with this even more bendy design. Classic lines- leaf shaped blade- speaks volumes about khukuris. Not a beginner's khuk- especially at that weight- and I notice that one takes a different grip with it than, for example, an Ang Khola. It taks about an hour to get used to the difference, then you love it. An absolute cutter and heavy smasher with classic lines.

Patience pays- keep fishing!

Can't beat a deal like this Dan.
And welcome to the Cantina/Psycho Ward, lots of great guys here as this offer proves.:D

Wow... That's quite an offer indeed. I'm sorry to say that Yangdu said it would be shipped today however. I'll email and see if it's been shipped, and if so, I'm sorry, but if not, I'd gladly let you have it.

By the way, for the rest of ye..... I -did- mention that my fingers were crossed on the M43... Perhaps I used it in the wrong context, but it was to say that I'd sent an email ordering the M43. Just so I don't seem like an evil person, that's my side of the story. :D

Most of the Khukri Sharks around here are content with an arm or leg now and then. Of course if you keep dangling parts of your body in the water, then they might come back for seconds...

The image of a bunch of sharks in dinner jackets at an English Gentleman's club sipping martinis and talking in upper crust english keeps coming to mind - at least for the last five or so years. ( Of course John Powell would have to be there. )

I seldom note 'Email sent'.
And only about half the time do you see it in the sale thread.
I just don't like to wave the flag of "I'm buying one".

Dan, final word is that it's already been shipped. I'm sorry. I'm sure that another will come up that you'll be able to snag. I wish you the best of luck.

I gotta wear a suit here now?

All along I thought this forum was clothing optional... :D

Nasty?

Sweat shirt with collar cut/torn out, faded/torn levis, worn boots/faded running shoes, wallet and a congenial attitude are all that are required.

The suits are for company.

Whew! Thanks Kis...had me worried for a minute there. You've seen the pics from the MWKK I take it...

Hamon

Actually I was taken by the shape of it plus the horn handle. Even though it is shipped the offer is still standing. I'll pay you $150 For it plus $25 goes to bill for the kamis. And I'll pay shipping

think it over and just let me know

Cheers
Dan
