Nice knives! That Jure model is $30 less than the same model I bought last month, that was also 10.5". Good deal for someone! (Plus UB marked to boot!)

Sent email on the Trisul...probably miss this one too

Sweet, I think the handle on this one is wood. All the others I have seen are horn like the one I got on 5/26. Hope you get it!

Norm

Thanks Sweet! I did NOT need to have a triangular box show up in the mail this month! SWMBO would not be amused!

"Katunjee special" is a nice size, has very nice Sword of Shiva... pretty little khukuri.

Just got my wood-handled BAS "UB" marked at lunch today... initial impression: outstanding! Very nice; beautiful wood, fit, finish. Must study & compare with other Villager markings... Triple peepsight cho. Sheath rather than frog: better, less bulky. Unique khuk: part BAS, part Hanshee. Mo' later.

Cool! I need to figure out how to do that!

I downloaded the picture, and zoomed and fiddled with it, and I still can't tell if it's horn or wood. The color looks like wood (may be reflection), and the texture looks like horn. We'll just have to wait for your report. Anyways, it's a deadly graceful blade. Congrats!

This grouping would have made a great collection all by itself.
It's got a bit of everything...Khuks made by bura, sher, amtrack, kumar < the best makers in my opinion, wood and horn handles, fancy carved and plain villagers, long and quick ... short and thick...U.B. marked and the standard makers marks.

If I got here early enough I'd probably still be swimmin' in circles trying to decide on which one.... :D

I have NO chance.
Thanks for trying, Fergie.

I shook you and shouted, but you just wouldn't wake up. :p Why don't you just email Yangdu, and ask her if she has another Trisul? :)
