I received a nice email from Yangdu this morning, I do love getting emails from her.

She tells me they are very stressed with moving. Discovered a water leak in the house that needed a costly repair.
Replacing the storage shed at her new old house and coming up short on parts and neighborhood authority thinking it is too wide even though it is two feet under maximum allowable size.

Apparently all the knives are outside on a covered porch under the close and watchful eye of Randy who sleeps out there to protect them. During the night someone apparently threw lime on him?????

Sounds like she's regretting the move and who can blame her.

At any rate this is to explain the lack of Daily Deals etc. They have a lot going on and hopefully will get back on track very soon.

Hoping everything works out well for them and all the issues are dealt with soon.

Nothing changes with contact information so no worries there, some things change, some things stay the same.

Thank you for update. Things workout in the end but very sad hearing auntie frustration along the way. Kudos to Randy sleeping with the khuks :courage:

Wrong lime... Throwing lime on someone is borderline evil.

There's only one type of lime I know of and it's a citrus fruit. Perhaps Lye? AKA: Sodium Hydroxide? Yes, that would be evil. The only other Lyme I know of is a disease transmitted by ticks.

I would love to just pack my m4 and one of my Thamar chuirras or Kiku Matsuda and help stand guard as if it's my own family moving!

Me too my friend, me too. We can help build the shed while we stand guard.

Cowardly attack on Randy, those POS! We should go up and take turns guarding with large swords, and see if they'll dare do that again. Not to mention a few custom AR's...:)

I've made my annual trek to Reno this year but if Yangdu calls and says come, I'll be on the road immediately.

I agree with stwm, we could assemble a force to be reckoned with.

Hopefully once the shed is sorted out everything else will fall into place.

Yangdu is a force to be reckoned with in herself and her family is quite an army in itself. One I'd most certainly like to belong to as opposed to competing against.

Dang HOA's! Bad enough she had to deal with having to move the shop because of people complaining about the noise and stench of burning horn in Nepal. Sad she now has to deal with the same class of people back home. Wish she wasnt so far away. Id go help her build a shed too. Id make sure it was a few angstroms under the limit on the hottest day of the year.
