Yangdu has a special formula she uses for figuring out what offering she will make for the day which I found to be somewhat interesting and I thought some of the forumites might find it interesting, too. First is local inventory. Few no special, a lot okay for special. Inventory at BirGorkha. Why inventory? Just ship everything you have ready. Explanation: Shipping rates PER KG change with shipment weight. Light parcels expensive, heavy parcels still expensive but might be able to save 2 bucks per KG so Pala sits on the khukuris until he meets the target weight he wants and then ships so we have BirGorkha inventory to consider, too. Kami work load is another consideration. If they need work a daily special is almost a must. If they are overloaded and inventory is low, no special. If I'm having a "weak day" and can't do anything for myself, no special. If the weather is too bad to make it down to our shipping service, no special. Plus she has other considerations she makes but these are the primary ones.

Man, i love the stag handles. Somehow they seem to make the knives look less threatening and more like pieces of art or a well-loved tool. Normally i don't care how threatening my knives look, but anytime a non-knife friend of mine looks over my collection they always seem to gravitate toward the warmer antler.
Those are some really good deals and a good selection. That sword for only 195.00 is a great steal. Cognitivefun, i hope you enjoy the bowie if you got to it in time. It'll take you to hell and back and be ready for seconds before you ever wear it out. I love mine:)

Don't feel bad, AA. I looked at them, and emailed, came back and checked the number of views (1, me), and I still didn't get the BGRS. Still don't understand that one.
