(I could be SOOO mean here...) Mohd, that's the one I always use.

Actually, missing out on the BGRS means I can buy 6 more raffle tickets!
Can a Malaysian buy raffle tickets in US? :D

Don't feel bad, AA. I looked at them, and emailed, came back and checked the number of views (1, me), and I still didn't get the BGRS. Still don't understand that one.

Wasn't meant to be.

Aardvark,

Didn't you get one of the little BGRS's? Did it really weigh that light?? More info ??

Dammit, I've trying to get in on one of these specials for months. The good ones are always gone in a matter of minutes. Man, posted in the middle of the day, and 6 minutes for that AK bowie to get taken....don't you guys have jobs? :(
I'm going to have to get some sort of pager/laptop combo so I can catch one before it's over.

Guys who only post 5 times in months have little good karma...

Maybe in your next lifetime you will post a lot so in the lifetime after that you can good snags?

Bad karma is spending the day trying to avoid frostbite and pneumonia while cursing the bastid that stole my field jacket over the holidays - and missing a good special at the same time. :)

To see the good in the bad, though, the stag handled Kardas are still being made. I will get mine. It's not a question of if, but when. :)

It seems that those Manjushrees are coming out pretty steadily now, and all I can say is: outstanding. Good news. I was just handling mine a few minutes ago which got me thinking about this. These are really amazing.

Heh, 5 times in years, you mean. :D I've been registered since '02. I've just got a lot of things going on in real life, full time student-working-driving 60 miles every few days to see g/f, so I don't get to come to online forums very often. I don't know how some of you guys can get in so many posts in such a short time. But I want an AK bowie real bad. Especially if it's under $100.

Bill Martino, or anyone else, know if these are zone tempered like the khuks, or hardened all along the edge?

The one I had was zone hardened like the khuks, others may be different.

My AK Bowie is also zone hardened, but the zone is from the cho to the point...

Are the Manjushrees double - edged?

Yes. Two edges, two fullers, and a handle that has to be seen to be believed. They are a steal at the price they are selling for. The pics don't really do them justice.

I have not seen a mention of the 18", 20 oz. cobra. Can it still be available at this late date!!. Email sent in case.

Got around to weighing it tonight, and it's 15 inches, 19 oz. Balance WAY forward, as you would expect from the shape. Hope the weather stays clear for the weekend, so I can try it out.

I'm really interested in knowing how this BGRS performs! Being as light as it is it could very well be a real performer for a 15" khuk.
I know I'm very fond of my 18" BGRS!!!! :D
