That sword is awesomely Cool!!!!    Looks to be fullered and then with that carved handle it is very tempting, very tempting indeed! Someone buy it, Quick!!!!:D ;)

Well, I wanted 3 of them, esp. that beautiful yellow hanshee and kobra, but that sword looks great, so sending email on that guy.

Just have to find some $ now.

Tnx.

Norm

First Hanshees I recall seeing in my 11 months here. Same as an AK but without fullers, is that it? Nice versions here today.

Norm

They look like Ganga Rams without the habaki bolster to me. :D

If it were anyone but Norm, I'd shoot off an email hoping to beat him to it...

Nice snag! You already have my shipping address for Xmas, right? ;)

Thanks Norm.
There have been some nice swords come through lately but this one is just exceptional IMO.:D And I just knew someone would snag it if I waited a little while. Please do a review of it when you get it.

Edit:
Well hell, that was quick ainnit? Well whomever got it please do a review and all the specs on it when you get it please.
I just love to have it rubbed in when I have intentionally missed something. :p ;) :D

The sword looks like it has a double edged blade. It is about the size of a gladius.
I can't figure out how a kami can use the water pour method to harden the two edges, and also avoid any blade warp. Just in terms of timing, it seems impossible. Western double edged blades are through hardened.
Anyone know how these are hardened and tempered, and how well it works?

OK, I'll settle for the pretty Kobra then (mail sent already!), and try not to think bad thoughts about my IT administrator! I SWEAR I was ready for it today; I even had my e-mail ready and addressed and just had to plug in the item name 'cuz I KNEW something good was coming today!

I fire off my e-mail within just a couple of minutes and .... just an hourglass for 10 minutes while the server bogs down! AAARRGGHHH!

Must be Karma; and you know, I know just what I did too! This is the least I deserve. (-:

Norm
