Ya' all don't know what a muffaletta is???? OK. It's a very LARGE sub style sandwich with a special olive salad on it. That's the sandwich part..... the big Nasty part.....well....... :D Of course I am assuming the muff part......... :eek: :rolleyes: ;)
 
Funny, I am looking at this thread at almost 10 pm. and the first one I would have grabbed was the Villager GRS as well. Hollow was all over that one!

I have seen plenty of Villager Ak's and Sirus, etc., but can't recall ever seeing a GRS Villager before. Nice knife! Good snag Hollowdweller.

Somebody please buy the AK Bowie. It's hurtin me! :eek: Never handled one, but from the reports here, I need one. :D But I'm saving up for an antique sword, so nothing for me right now.

Com'on, Steve. you know you want it. That way when some guy in a "Thriller" jacket and a headband pulls a dinky switchblade on you, calls you a "sucka" and demands your wallet you'll have something to defend yourself with AND you can quip a cliche' "....N'w that's a knowf" and proceed to dash his jacket to pieces with your superior blade. Then watch him pee himself and trip over himself in terror as you sheath your 1.5lb monster. If not you, Steve, then someone needs to buy the bura masterpiece, sand smooth the coffin ridges on the slabs, apply a little mineral oil and use a fine grit satin finish on the blade. said it before. Say it again. everyone needs an AK bowie. they just don't know it yet;)

Not everyone needs one.:rolleyes: ;) I had the very first one and swapped it for some other HI goodies I liked better.:p

I stand corrected:) To be honest with you, Yvsa, I'm on my second AK bowie. I got one from Uncle Bill a couple years back and swapped it back within a week for my 18" WWII. Didn't like the tip. Thought i'd screw it up pretty easily. A couple years older and less destructive with my knives I have come back to the AK bowie. Excellent knife. And while my little rant on them might have been a tad overzealous, it was really to egg on anybody that was looking at the UBDOTDs to buy that bowie before i talked myself into it;) Different Strokes for different folks, i suppose:)
