Yard Sale Find

Shopped for a lathe for a long time on ebay and stumbled across one at a yard sale about two miles from my house.

It's an EMCO Compact 10 and in great shape. I still need to get a three jaw chuck, but it's home now and working out fine.

Nice find indeed. Why do you need a three-jaw chuck? d0es it not have a chuck with it? Or did it have a four-jaw chuck and that's not OK? Just trying to learn.

3 jaw chucks self center while 4 jaws do not. Quick for round stock and the like

Nice! Make sure you get the owners manual with ALL of the oiling points spelled out and oil it EVERY time you start up for the day
