Had to put some tools to work today. There are about 3 more of these to cut down, but the rest will have to be done tomorrow. Going to take the wifey on a dinner date tonight without the kids! :)

The Silky just makes quick work of anything it touches. Surely could have cut something twice this diameter as well!

Not too big. The thick parts of the tree will be saved for when 1066vik's bk29 gets here. There WILL be a chop off! Chopping, splitting, cutting and feathersticking. I'll even throw the almighty 1311 in there as well.

This knife is tough and I'm sure can take anything that I can ever throw at it! I love this bk20. I'm very anxious to see the difference between mine and vik's 29, if there any noticeable differences at all.

Using the blades makes yard work fun, haha. That's what I always think at the cabin. More fun than work.

I actually like doing yardwork. I don't know about others, but I like to take a little pride in how my home and yard looks!

I've always liked yard work myself. Except when I have to rake those stupid gumballs. What a pain in the ass. I have a black walnut tree too. Had 2, but cut the other down.

Great pics! I, too, am a fan of any yardwork that involves Beckers. Tho my personal fave is the RBK. Looking forward to the chop-off between the 20 & the 29....

yesterday I was trimming locust trees (both honey and black) and common briar with my modded parangatang -- the RBK would have done a good job of it, but the PT has more reach, which is very important when dealing with toothy trees.

What happened, one of the big Becker's get out of it's cage?? 😆

That would have taken a long time to chop with a knife, haha. Actually, it was kind of interfering with a neighbor, so I agreed to get it cut down. Don't miss it at all, with all the extra walnuts to deal with.

Thanks Rebel!

Dinner last night...

Looks good 91.

It was nice out today. I should have went out and got some yard work done. I did go out, and pick up a few sticks, but that was about it, haha.

Spent the day in the yard.
Chainsaw, 9, lawnmower.
Washed better half's car.
Topped it off fixing 2 busted sprinklers.
At least the weather was nice!

looks just about right for a smaller becker to handle that mighty poplar? sapling?

chop that shit :D

Right on 91, looking forward to your comparison of the 20 and 29 👍

Put about 4 and 1/2 hours worth into the yard today. Mostly raking gumballs.

I helped the king do a little yard work today, beautiful day here in North Carolina!

After chopping up some sizable oak limbs yesterday and several various limbs and an old Christmas tree today, the new 9 is getting a small amount of finish wear, tough stuff and tough knife, it's still sharp!
