I've just changed my single phase baldor motor with a three phase baldor with a Yaskawa vfd drive. I can't be happier with the set up. The reason I'm telling you this is more to give the drive the credit it deserves as I checked out the company to make sure the product was got, I've found out it is great!
The other reason I'm writing this is to give credit to one of our own members, he is well known to most of you as the genius that comes up with the different attachments for the KMG and horizonal sanders. He is Mike Kanter, the one known as AdamMichaelKnives.com I got the controller from him and I want you to know that as well as he makes knives, he's probably a better person. He helped poor ignorant me work out the things that I had to do to connect the machinery up. He was extremely patient and understanding at my lack of knowledge on the drive. I only knew when I fooled with electricity, I got juiced!!!
I hope I've made a friend in him and if I ever need another controller, he is my first call.
I also hope that if you haven't seen his knives, you take the time to look. I know a lot of the big makers personally and I feel he is on the edge of doing great things with his knives. I've been at it for seven years and I was blown away with his stuff.
