YAY!! Just ordered a new ZT 551!

I have seen this on a couple of dealer sites. When I called Kershaw/ZT they clearly stated it would not happen as they were having enough trouble getting all of the 0551 knives finished and QC'd. I called when they were on number 650 and was told that they still had 600 on back order and that some people wouldn't be receiving their knives. Apparently that didn't work out either as I see they have shipped numbers into the 1200s. Not that I care...I bought mine to use...not sell and make a profit as I see some have. I like it so much that I've bought 3 now. I can't wait for the 0560/0561.

Good info. Sounds like the materials, production floor time, and so on for the 0551BLK were reallocated to producing more of the regular 0551 to fill dealer orders.
