I don't know but it sure looks like a lot of work went into getting it that far. Love to see the end result!
 
Looks good JT. New patterns are hard to come up with. Most of the time I’ve been disappointed when trying to develope new patterns in damascus.

Next time I recommend you twist tighter on all bars.

Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

It is a multi bar San-Mai with a core of 15n20 and cruforgeV. It’s not twisted super tight as it’s a merovingian pattern inspired by Salem’s merovingian twist sword he did.
Here is the test etched billets.

Do you mean the core is 3 layers itself 15n20 and Cru V? Either way it's gonna be cool.

The first picture shows the cruforge v and 15n20. The are stacked on top of each other so the cruforgev is really just a bit of sorts. The 15n20 is actualy 4 layers that was forge welded togather in a previous operation.
