Thank you again for agreeing to make that amazing fighter for me - I think mine is photo #14 here, with the single guard & maroon micarta....with the mustard etched finish. I've been meaning to send you recent pics of that knife, because it looks quite a bit different now! I hope you'll forgive me, but after owning it for several months, I decided I wished I hadn't asked for the mustard patina, so I foolishly cut a few strips of 400-grit sandpaper & went at it. To my utter shock, just a few minutes later, the dust settled, & I had a fantastic hand-rubbed finish on this beautiful fighter. The knife's at home, otherwise I'd include a pic right now - I'll try to remember to snap a couple tonight & post them here tomorrow. I really don't know how I pulled it off - I was expecting that I'd F it all up & then just ask you if I could pay you to refinish it, but man, it somehow turned out great & it transformed the look of the knife - but it's of course the same masterwork that you created for me - absolutely flawless fit & finish, & your telltale elegant lines - & the viewers can't tell from the one pic here in this thread, but the spine is a good 5/16" with a distal taper, so this knife isn't just a looker, it's also bomb-proof, & undoubtedly will be my go to knife when the dead rise.
