Since Shot Show I've been reflecting on the knives announced so far for this year and the ones that really have me excited are the compression locks. I love my Sage 1 so I will be adding the Sage 5 to my collection as soon as it's available. The Ouroboros also looks promising. I love the ergos on it, and the fluidity of the blade and handle seems like it'll be a very functional EDC. Not to mention the anticipated "Para-3" that we will hopefully be learning more about soon. Are you guys looking forward to these models as much as I am?
 
The Sage 5 and PM3? Yessir!! They moved to number one and two on my list of Spydies to get. I really enjoy the comp lock as much as you do and wish it were on many other Spydies.

Hi, my very first post. I am excited to hear about the new compression lock models.

What is this Ouroboros model you mention? Was it in a recent Shot Show video or announcement? I don't recall seeing it in the 2016 catalogue?

para3??? the para 2 is so good, I do not see how they could improve it!
 
I'm also psyched about the Sage 5, and I'm curious to see how Taichung does the compression lock.

My guess is that it will be smooth. :cool:

It was at Shot Show, they didn't feature it in the catalogue to my knowledge. It's like a smaller version of the Junior with some major design changes, I'll try and find a picture.

I miss my YJ2...need to pick up another one, it may look weird but the ergos were good for me.
Definitely want to Sage 5 and the Ouroboros this year :thumbup: Love the compression lock!
 
I personally really love the compression lock. I think I have every knife spyderco makes with the compression lock.
