I got a SHSHII for near cost, a NICK AT cost (got teh combo, sold the XXXL) and paid. . . oh yeah a LOT for my SHBM. LOL (Actually, the NICK combo sat on KF for a month with no takers. It was back when none of all'y'all wanted em. 6 months later, I caught grief for selling the XXXL at the price I sold it at. They have never been lower than that since. LOL)
Of course, those deals were not here and over 2 years ago. It took some serious hog-foo to find them at those prices. But it is possible. Sadly I let slip a few of my tricks but no one has milked them for anything as yet.
I'd like to think that if I was buying Busse knives in 199x, I'd have gotten a ton of them, but I doubt it. I was not nearly as cash-handy as I am now and was too much into projectile-pushing weapons-of-destruction. It would have saved me a few hundred dollars at best.
