Yellow Case Knives Make Me Happy...

I have no idea why. But if I walk up to a Case knife case in a store, my eyes are drawn to the yellow ones.

Yea, I'm old.

I'm buying yellow Case medium stockmans for my 2 sons for Christmas. They have decades of manual labor before they can retire. They own Buck 110's and multi-tools and Spyderco's and stuff, but I'm betting they don't own a yellow medium stockman. I'll probably go stainless because they both fish and work and sweat and neglect stuff. I'm hoping they will actually wear and use them for many decades and think of me every time they pull it out.

Mine's a 1993 with the actual year stamped in it.

Yeller knives are the "best". (unless dropped or set down inna field of buttercups or other yeller flowers ... )

I don't have a yeller Case (yet). Closest I have is a Amber Jigged Bone CV canoe.
I do have a few smooth synthetic yeller's from another brand, however.

I like the yellow Case knives, too, but only have 3 models so far, all with CV blades: pen knife, slimline trapper (thanks, Tom), and copperhead (thanks, Steve).

Yeah... it's a nice stag version. Both sides are pretty nice, fairly evenly matched. SS blades, but Case seldom puts stag on CV knives, in my experience. I have a CV sowbelly in stag, part of the "Rancher" series....
This particular swayback is one of the few that I kept... I had several for a while, but moved them along to make room for others...

Yellow Delrin and CV steel is a tough combination to beat. So is a La Gloria Cubana maduro cigar and Old Forester King Ranch Bourbon.
