For some weird reason I have been looking at the yellow Mini Grips lately. Maybe because I don't have one in yellow :D

My question for those that have one is, is the yellow bright, or more of a pale yellow ? I've seen plenty of pictures, but as we all know, lighting really changes things, so I've never been certain of the true color.

Mines bright bright yellow it's an older model with 440c. This is going be a water knife for me. If i drop it in pretty sure i'll be able to find it god willing. In the right light it almost looks chartreuse. In this picture it looks dull bananer yella. Sorry. to lazy to take another pic but trust me in certain lights it looks bright chartreuse yellow.

I've had newer and older versions (still have a discontinued 555), and they're definitely different. The newer ones are more banana and the older ones are more lemon, if that makes any sense. Like them both.

Thanks guys. That confirms another thing I was questioning, if there is a difference between newer, and older versions...

The only reason I wondered was the older knives were painted, and the newer knives are molded color.

I got this one for kayaking. It's a sort of a yellow-green.

Is that the neon green from the custom build ? Funny you posted that knife, because I have been thinking of ordering another custom Mini, and I have been considering that color. If it is, now I know what the color actually looks like, because the website colors aren't really true renditions. I like it

Yes, it's the custom shop neon green and I love the color. The pics don't really do the intensity of the color justice. It has an almost radioactive glow. :D

Thanks. I really like it. I have two OD Green Minis. One is from the custom build program. I like them, but the bright colors really add character...

I never really gave different colors much thought until the wife got her 440C vintage Mini Grip with purple scales.

Mike, might be time for the Ritter M390 version soon.

Way ahead of you Charlie :D I got a black M390 Ritter Mini a few weeks back, and have been thinking about ordering an orange Mini to go with it. I was just on Rogers website, and as of right now, all the new versions are in stock.

I feel obligated to buy a couple more soon LOL. I ordered 7 new pocket clips from BM today, and I will have two extras  At least that is the excuse I'm using

I know my original topic was yellow Grips, but I was seriously thinking of ordering the exact same knife, with a D2 blade. After seeing your pictures, I now know I must order one :D

I think the pics are definately doing justice here. I think I'll be getting one in this color as well. Brightest i've seen. Want a color that if i drop in the drink will be able to see it visably in the water. Think this will fit the bill the best. Or orange maybe.

Put a float on a lanyard and you'll never have to worry about it again!
