Very nice  I'm really liking these knives...

I'm going to have to get one someday. Definitely won't be buying a bunch of them at one time :D

In my late night searching, I did come across a Ron Yellowhorse knife. I didn't Google it, but I'm wondering if he is another of Daves sons?

This is another Native American Custom made by Wilde Bill Cody

Beautiful knifes..on a side note I was in small store in scottsdale AZ the sales man showed me several Kalinga look alikes. The blades were marked "DY-Navajo" he swore up and down that they were David Yellowhorse knifes but they just did not look right so I passed...glad I passed on after reading this:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/92999-DAVID-YELLOWHORSE-KNIFE

Those would be made by Doriz Yaziee who worked for David Yellowhorse a number of years ago.

I had 2 Yellowhorse Buck knives. I gave the trapper to my ortho doc. He didnt charge me for setting my broken arm. He was thrilled to get a signed piece of Yellowhorses. I still have the Confederate.

2nd row, 3rd across

Last year, at the SMKW Buck Meeting, I went to most of the meetings during the day. David Yellowhorse spoke in one meeting and my wife and son came with me for that meeting. It was a fascinating talk. He talked how he got started with knives, a Buck 112 and later worked with Buck. He talked about his life on a resorvation, problems with that life and his wonderful work ethic. My son has a small bit of native American in him, (on my wife's side) and I felt David's talk was very inspirational and moving toward my son.

Later that night my son decided to get a Yellowhorse 110. It was a lot of money and I chipped in a little. He is not really into knives and my family tolerates my knife addiction, but he got that knife and I feel it means a lot to him. I have a few Yellowhorse knives and I must say, after his talk, I have more respect for those knives.
