Especially when you're like Robin Hood...

Broken scale for the Shank, dinged edge for the Sarge. Be careful when you're drinking the Turkey and chuckin those Busses, try not to be too accurate.

Whoa--you BROKE a canvas micarta scale just from throwing impact? Never saw that before.

Ha ha, yes, too much Walking Dead! And too much whiskey, but neither is a bad thing!

The Shank is an awesome thrower, I stick it more often than not. Same with the Sarge though, it sticks most of the time.

Will, the Shank's scale didn't break from impact, I stuck it, and then threw the Sarge. I actually hit the Shank with the Sarge, and the picture is the result. It sliced it cleanly until it hit the pin, and then broke off.

Just to be clear, I'm in no way dogging the knives, or trying to get warranty work. It was a mistake on my part, caused by the infamous 101, and I'm just warning those who are throwing their Busses. Toss at your own peril!! LOL

What are the odds? You're like the Robbin Hood of knife throwing! Cool pics btw. A friend was throwing his b10 a couple weeks ago and the res c held up really well and just took a couple of scuffs without splitting
 
I've shifted the scales on my NMSFNO and Rucki by throwing them, every now and then I try and hammer the NMSFNO scales back into place but it never works.

Took a chunk out of black canvas before (NMSFNO), had a throw get away from me and whack some cinder blocks. Edge got a little damage but finally worked out.


But yup, things happen when you throw them, oh well, beat the hell out of it :D
