He’s referring to my girlfriend who was a rock climber. There’s a story there.

the first day I met her I had asked if she had been to the top of half dome in Yosemite. She said yes, and I asked how long it took her to get up there. She said “one day in, one day up, and one day out”. I looked confused and she asked why. I said usually you get up early and go up and back in one day. She said “oh no I climbed the face”.

It has been like that for 17 years.
