I picked up my sword on Saturday at the Post Ofice. It is very well made, showing no grind marks on the blade, very even and precise fullers (5) on each side, even and clean tapers, and a handsome hilt made of wood clad in bronze. Any seams are baely visible, if at all. The scabbard is very well made and quite light. All in all, a superb piece of work. It isn't fancy, it is a good workman like sword, one that you would have expected a professional warrior to have carried into battle. And, for $300 delivered to my door, it a steal.

Excellent news Hugh!

I'm hoping some good pics are forthcoming eventually?
Hmmm?
Gee, it would be really cool if you could get pics at the re-enactment you've got coming up!
(not so subtle hint.)
;)

Five fullers?!? Wow! That sounds a lot the old Italian cinqueda daggers. I'd love to see some pictures if you get the chance (email me if you need help posting 'em ;)).

Hey Hugh Fuller congrats on your new sword. Are you gona have some pics up for us to drool over? How is the scabbard made? would love to see pics of that too. What are the measurements to this baby?

Outstanding Hugh, I will join the throng clamoring for pictures!
