Yesterday Was A Fun Day!

Had fun yesterday! Alison and her boyfriend (interesting combo, she`s LEO, and he is a fireman), came over, and Becky, Dave, and the girls came over. We decided to go to dinner and Bass Pro afterwards. Had a surprise at Bass Pro, Santa was there already! The girls got a kick out of it, and got to make crafts. Family is the best!

Cute! I had heard that Santa was at BP already.

I might be able to take my granddaughters there today- they stayed with us last night and today I get to have some fun with them.

Hi John -

I stole your idea and took my granddaughters to Bass Pro to see Santa and have some fun.

First, we visited the mount of Mel Johnson's archery world record white-tail taken in Chillicothe, just north of Peoria, in 1965.

Santa was drinking! (soda...)

Finally got Emily to smile...

We wrote letters to Santa....

Then pop-pop made them stand next to the Buck Knife display cabinet.

Bass Pro is a good place for the kids - especially this time of year.
