it was a warm day yesterday, so the critters and i hit our favorite spot, for a little river play... it's just a short walk from my house...

i took my BRAVO-1 with me... i scored this bad boy in june for my b-day, from my father in law... it's got antique ivory micarta scales... man is this an awesome knife.. i love it.. it is barkie perfection at it's finest... i used it to make a figure 4, without the deadfall..

Looks like a FANTASTIC time Mike. Nothing better than grabbing the kids and spending some quality time in the woods. Crazy how there really is a world out there that doesn't include PlayStation huh? :D
 
Great pics. When we were kids my brother and I our dad always took us to play in the creek and hiking and shooting and stuff. It's a good thing:thumbup:
 
looks like a sweet trip there, and a nice cool spot to sit and relax.

we have a similar spot a couple of miles down the road, but its the local party spot for all of the cool kids :rolleyes:, so there are always beer cans and little vodka bottles everywhere...oh well, that's what they made the deep woods for a i guess.
 
You and your boys seem to spend a lot of quality time together. That's really nice to see. And nice b-day gift by the way!

I always enjoy when you post pics of your family outings Mike.That's a great little spot you got there.

Nice job on the figure 4, I don't think I've ever seen one made that could stand on its own.
 
many thanks folks...:D we actually just got back from that same spot.. we have ben there for a few hours... the boys love it.. we went with a few other friends..
