• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Yet Another Orange Bullnose Review

Yeah, mine got scary scary sharp too :). Held up great, I don't think you will be let down. Keep us posted though if you please.

I was playing with it more this afternoon. It cuts like a son of a b-tch. I am going to take it out weeding tomorrow to see how it holds up. Very good steel on this knife.

Weeds huh !?!? I'd think cutting/separating chicken quarters (legs and thighs) for a BBQ would be more like it. No matter - enjoy the heck out of it.

Thanks for the picture.

Sigh. I listened to Jeff Foxworthy. Apparently, I might be a redneck.

I spent yesterday pruning the shrubs in my front yard with the bullnose. I went through about 20-30 trimmings with the thickest being maybe 1/8" inch. This was not a heavy workout but still some good cutting. After cleaning the blade and doing a few strops, still sharp as it was off the hones. The edge can catch standing hairs on my arm and slice standing blades of grass. This is my first run through with 01 on a knife. I have a straight razor of the stuff and I am not a huge fan of the grind, so I don't use it much. I think I may be in the market for more of this steel :)

This O1 is pretty good stuff, wonder what they temper it to? I know mine took a convex edge like a light saber.
