Good point! I'm much more forgiving as the price goes down

Me too. I'm always extra impressed when an inexpensive knife is made to a very high standard. Whereas with a more expensive knife you expect everything to be right, as I think you have the right to, and are more disappointed when it isn't. If a cheap knife comes with a few flaws I'll either live with them or try and put them right, but I'd be more inclined to return a more expensive knife. One of my most regular peeves is knives that are blunt (or even badly ground) straight out of the box, it's usually the easiest thing to put right, but it annoys me that knives get sent out like that when decent money is charged for them.

No word from the Mfg yet on this complaint, will give them a call on Monday maybe and chat. The steel is D2, kinda leaning more to getting traditional folders with that right now.

One other, pretty small pet peeve I have is when there are two blades and the nail nicks are on opposite sides of the handle, instead of having the smaller blade set below the nail nick of the larger blade, so you'd have access from one side for either knife, yeah, it's a small pet peeve and hasn't been any kind of deal breaker, just like it when they are able to make it 'my way' :) I can see some patterns limit you on what you can and can't do, but still...can't be that hard to design it in?
