Yet another pivot pin/drilling/tapping question

Don, I've been making and selling fixed blades for about five years. I sell a few here and there and trade or keep the rest for other knives I want. This is my firsecond attempt at a knife with moving parts. My first was a friction folder that faioled ridiculously because I straight drilled and didn't know about reaming or any of that jazz, so the pivot didn't fit and I dumped the project. This was 4 years ago, probably.

So, here's my second attempt, and it involves new skills and new tools I've never used before in a knife setting, such as reaming, pivots pins, tapping, etc. Here's a pic of some recent work (I do 90% of the work with hand tools like files):

That's great, Doc. You have the skills and prerequisites, so now you need to get a copy of my book, "My Way" from my web site. It'll take you the rest of the way on making folders.

Chiro,
I posted this link over on the other thread http://www.edcknives.com/GuinnBaliTutorial.html I will post it here too, maybe someone here might want the info. You could build knife with threaded pivot post instead of pins, if you prefered. I was trying to show that a balisong knife could be built very easily and with the minimum of equipment. I would love to see someone get some use from my efforts.
