...tossed out a cheap plastic "Made in China" freebie from Publisher's Clearing House, a magazine renewal bill for a magazine I've never heard of and a "Vote for Me" flyer from some dude on the other side of the county. A package can get from Tulsa to our break-bulk in one day, but when it has been raining, the mules bog down on the roads and it's three days from the break-bulk to here.. ...SIGHhhhhhh

Customer in Dad's hometown of Springfield HAD to have a Royal Silver Mounted Dhankuta in time for Christmas so at his request I shipped USPS next day delivery and paid the price. Parcel got from Reno to Springfield in 5days! The Pony Express did better.

Walosi that's too bad!!!! I was really hoping you would get the package by today, but maybe tomorrow will bring it. If not then you should definitly get it by Monday.
Oh well it's only money and if you can't have some fun with it once in a while it isn't any good to anyone.

I'm as probably anxious for you to get it as you yourself are probably wondering what it is.:p

W..W..Worry a a about a puh puh package in the mu muh mail??? ?? Whatever could you neam...mean :D
It' just Stamp sickness...or maybe a Mail Jones.......well, OK, it's Postal Palsy

It could always get lost or stolen.

Did you insure it, Bro?

When Foxy comes around ask him about insurance.

I've heard the horror stories about insuring packages in that they often get ripped off more than one's not insured.:(

Yeah it was insured, never had any problems before and I think it's just because I'm anxious for Walosi to get it.
I was just going by Friday, because that's what the gal at the Post Office told Barb.
She's the opne who said it would be there by Friday, or perhaps it was should be?
Barb just said that the gal said, "should be." so that leaves an opening.
Usually in the past the things I thought I would get on Friday came on Saturday if not on the Friday.
I won't start worrying until after Wednesday of next week, if it isn't there by then then something may have happened.
It's in a box that's way too big for it one way. It fit pretty good from side to side.:)
I think I'm gonna start shipping things where the person it's addressed to has to sign that they got it.
The P.O. is supposed to be pretty good about getting packages like that through, at least it's been noted that way on the G.B.& U.Forum.
The good thing is that it's not marked as to what it really is and no one can guess from the size of the box.
I can't say too awfully much because Walosi's been around the block like a few of us and perhaps could ferret out what it is and I do want him to be surprised.:D

but just about fits side-to-side.....If it ticks, or buzzes, I won't open it....and if it has air holes, it ain't even comin' in the house. Might be a squirrel. They get viscious when they have been penned up. I'll just forward it to the little old lady's house in Reno, and Bill can go over and collect the head. Then she will think he is a hero, and not gripe about the UPS shipments, and he can go back and have breakfast...or brunch.

Oh, yeah...almost forgot the :barf:

Made it ok and that's good. Foxy won't want to tell his story but we'll keep after him until he does.
