As part of my campaign to put a Walrus Dogbone on every belt in America, here's yet another:

Blade- 10 9/16ths inch, 4-bar "W" modified Turkish Twist Damascus. Length over-all- 16 inches.

Handle scales-Ancient Walrus "Chocolate and Vanilla" Ivory.

Damascus guard,collars,frame,butt-cap,take-down tool cap, sheath stud, and finial from same billet as blade.

Paul Long sheath with Sharkskin overlay, Lizard inlay, Damascus stud and leather "Papoose" for Damascus topped Take-down Tool.

and we're not done yet...

Great damascus and finish as always John. I'm only 300 million belts away, or thereabouts, by my counting. :)

well now...that is a special knife!
Dogbone Dirk for a seafarin' gunslinger, (where's he off to? The East...must be).
Love the wavy choil and wavy damascus. Sharkskin too, and Walrus be a sea creature as well.
I think you must have a little salt water in your veins John :)

Ouch - sensory overload when seeing that!!
Everything kust like I like it; coffin handle, swept clip, straight lines without much fanfare in the way of curved clip etc.
Fantastic knife.

That is sooo CUTE!!;) Great stuff, John...as usual.

Manuel,

I added a couple of photos, including this one of the Damascus.

It's a simple "W" modified Turkish Twist; three layers of low count "flat" with two layers of "W", brought down to square bar, twisted, and 4-barred.

Beautiful, John. :D

That would be a cornerstone of any collection of fixed blades, and even MS fixed blades!

It all looks so.... easy. However, had there been a W.I.P. it would have run ten pages to get to this point.

And then there is Paul's work. ^^^ Same thing applies.

Bravo. I wish I could 'Like' this post. ;) I do.

Wonderful work!

One thing I noticed at Blade is that your knives are among the few that look the same in at the table as they look on the glamourpictures.
