Yeti Hunter Knives

I guess not in NZ, but in Oz they have Yowies, which are apparently Sasquatch's red-headed step brothers.

It's only a matter of time before they make the swim.

I know folk who believe they have seen Yowies. But many claim the 'call' of the Yowie is the most fearsome and chilling sound ever made by man or beast.

Aussie's and intending visitors should make a Yeti Hunter a priority purchase.

I've also been told outback and non-urban Aussie's often warn tourists about the mysterious Drop Bear too.

Ok I just couldn't resist. Email sent on Yeti #3.

#2 You won't be disappointed. :)

#1 Welcome to the Cantina.

Ted- I have pretty crappy speakers on my desktop, and that sounded for all the world like the mooing of a cow with a sore throat.

Welcome Mykael to the interesting world of HI :D To be honest you choose the one which was tempting me ...glad my wallet was spared this time.;)

Ted, I have not heard a Yowie call, nor a Bobcat, but in this instance I have to agree with MacHete ...it did sound like a cow on my laptop's speakers as well?

Recently, two of my Yeti Hunter Knives went to a collector New Zealand.
Being curious, I searched for evidence of Yetis in New Zealand. I could
not find one piece of evidence, or even a story, of Yeti presence there.

Stories abound, though, of Maui, a Polynesian deity who became a divine
helper for mankind. Various New Zealand myths relate how Maui stole fire
and gave it to humans and slowed down the sun's trip across the sky so
humans could get their daily work done in daylight. Very glorious tasks,
even for a divine being.

Maui and his brother created a rope trap that grabbed the sun as it
rose in the morning and apparently beat it into submission until it was
convinced to move slower through the day.

Though the Yeti might not have traveled to New Zealand yet, my collector
will definitely be ready when they do arrive quietly and announce their
presence when the moon is full. You can never tell when or where a Yeti
will show up. It's good to be prepared.

When the Yetis and the Yowies join forces,I will be ready :) :)

What a frightening thought.

In the meantime they will stand you in good stead against those mutant sheep/possum crossbreeds that are said to dwell in the areas where Lord Of The Rings was filmed?

I live in a small community in manitoba, most of the locals and myself have heard sasquatch or the "Wild Man of the Forest (translated)" at night, its not uncommon here. But one time time he was so near my house I could hear him clearly, even though all the windows and doors were shut, he was loud. I am not afraid of him though, I am of no threat to him, we aboriginal people have had many encounters with sasquatch. First Nations have many legends of sasquatch, some not so pleasant, of course he poses no threat to us in my community. But there are other dangers here, which is why I purchased a 20" CAK from HI awhile back. These Yeti Hunter khukris are very beautiful, I will have to purchase one or two of these in the near future.

Great info and great post.

We don't just have yowies we have bunyips and snakes and spiders and killer birds, if you are in oz without a khukuri you are up the creek without a paddle and a hole in your boat. Someone needs to design a khukuri for killing taipans and brown snakes.

These are an an almost exact copy of the Windlass khuks-my personal fav type :D

Yeah, the ol' government contractor-style... had one myself years ago, but it got stolen. :(

Luckily I haven't had any "Samsquanch" or "Saskatchewan" problems around here lately.

I disagree!

Windlass made cheap/poor replicas of these...

The yeti Hunters from HI are miles ahead in fit, finish and quality. So far infact they are not even the same league.
