You wrote exactly what I was thinking. It's not like the knife is a folding Warrior or anything. Michael Janich even says the knife is a good utility knife in the SHOT 2011 video.

I can't wait to see some sprint runs on the Yojimbo 2. I want one. I would just prefer something other than black (already have a few black knives).
 
It sounds very suitable, if your job involves a lot of pimpin'. :D

edit: Then again, in that case, a handle with MOP inlays may be even more appropriate.

I don't think of it as the bee's knee for defensive use anyway.

Exactly. The blade shape is perfect for every day utility tasks even if it was designed for self-defense.

I was hearing rumblings over on the Spyderco Factory forum of it possibly being a dealer exclusive. That was a couple months back I believe, haven't dropped over there lately so your guess is as good as mine.
 
I would like to see a blue g-10/m390 it would be cool to be able to have a set of compression lock spydies that match handles and steel by getting yo2/pm2 sprints
 
Yep, this one is coming up from the same place that brought us the CF/M390 Military dealer exclusive, not sure when they'll be up for pre-order though.

Erm if I'm not mistaken the Caly 3.5 already got the CF in sprint run although with ZDP so yeah :)
